2. INTRODUCTION <br />The Millwright Loop Roads — Phase 1 (MWL-PH1) project is located along approximately 500 feet east of <br />404 1411, Street between the Port of Everett's (PORT) North Marina and the 14t', Street bulkhead. Refer to the <br />vicinity map, Figure 1-1. The proposed conditions at the end of this MWL-PH1 project will represent an <br />interim condition for the larger Waterfront Place Central (WPC) development. The project includes the <br />initial construction steps for development of new WPC roadway infrastructure including segments of <br />Millwright Loop North and South and Chamfer Wooner£ The MWL-PH1 generally includes the following <br />construction activities: <br />2.1. TEMP ACCESS AND SITE PREP <br />• Construction of temporary access roads <br />2.2. TEMP ACCESS AND SITE PREP <br />• Demolition existing site features and infrastructure including, <br />o Existing pavement <br />o Electrical systems <br />o Buried utilities <br />o Excavation, handling, transport, and offsite disposal of soil <br />2.3. PRELOAD CONSRUCTION <br />• Site earthworks, installation of ground improvements, site grading; <br />• Preload material placement, <br />• Setttlement monitoring <br />2.4. UTILITIES <br />• Electrical distribution modifications <br />• Sewer system modifications <br />2.5. STORMWATER <br />• Stormwater management within and adjacent to the development <br />• Temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) <br />Refer to Appendix A for project construction plans. Stormwater and drainage design follows the City of <br />Everett's DCSS requirements, as well as the requirements in the SWMINNWU. <br />® ® 0 <br />
