FIRE CODE ORDINANCE Page 3 of 38 <br /> <br />Mechanical Officials as adopted by the Washington State Building Code Council in Chapters 51- <br />56 and 51-57 WAC, as now or hereafter amended; except that any provisions of such code <br />affecting sewers or fuel gas piping are not adopted. The following appendices are specifically <br />adopted, as now or hereafter amended: <br /> <br />1. Appendix A, Recommended Rules for Sizing the Water Supply System. <br /> <br />2. Appendix B, Explanatory Notes on Combination Waste and Vent Systems. <br /> <br />3. Appendix D, Sizing Storm Water Drainage Systems. <br /> <br />4. Appendix I, Installation Standards. <br /> <br />F. The rules adopted by the Washington State Building Code Council establishing standards for <br />making buildings and facilities accessible to and usable by the physically disabled or elderly <br />persons as provided in RCW 70.92.100 through 70.92.160, as now or hereafter amended. <br /> <br />G. The Washington State Energy Code, as adopted by the Washington State Building Code <br />Council in Chapter 51-11 WAC, as now or hereafter amended. <br /> <br />H. The current edition of the National Electric Code, published by the National Fire Protection <br />Association, as adopted by the Department of Labor and Industries in Chapter 296-46B WAC, <br />and Chapter 19.28 RCW, as now or hereafter amended. <br /> <br />I. The current edition of the International Property Maintenance Code, published by the <br />International Code Council, Inc., as now or hereafter amended. The following appendix is <br />specifically adopted, as now or hereafter amended: <br /> <br />1. Appendix A, Boarding Standard. <br /> <br />Section 2. Chapter 16.03 EMC is hereby repealed in its entirety. For purposes of reference, <br />Chapter 16.03 EMC was adopted under the following ordinance: Ord. 3796-21. <br /> <br />Section 3. A new Chapter 16.03 EMC is hereby added to the EMC as set forth in Exhibit A to this <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this Ordinance are authorized to make necessary <br />corrections to this Ordinance including, but not limited to, the correction of scrivener’s/clerical errors, <br />references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers, and any internal references. <br />
