Component Descriptions <br />2-11 RACKING COMPONENTS <br />The racking system for the Natura IGS system is modular and can be adjusted to fit any <br />number of cylinders in a variety of row combinations. This section outlines the components <br />used in the racking system. The components include: <br />• Section 2-11.1, Unistrut® Wall Rail <br />• Section 2-11.2, Front Clamping Bar <br />• Section 2-11.3, Rear Wooden Spacer <br />• Section 2-11.4, Center Wooden Spacer <br />• Section 2-11.5, Single Cylinder Clamping Bracket <br />• Section 2-11.6, Clamping Bolt <br />• Section 2-11.7, End Cover <br />• Section 2-11.8, Distance Pipe <br />Note: The racking components can be configured using a tool which can be downloaded from <br />the Kidde Fire Systems distributor extranet. <br />2-11.1 Unistrut® Wall Rail <br />Unistrut is used in conjunction with cylinder bracketing to support the cylinders. Secure the <br />Unistrut from a solid structure such as a brick or concrete wall or a free standing steel frame <br />structure secured to floor and ceiling where possible. <br />Note: The length of unistrut needed depends on the number of cylinders used, but is the same <br />whether using the clamps or the wooden racking components. <br />MMI <br />Figure 2-4.
