ORDINANCE NO. 2343-98 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "Riverfront Overcrossing and Riverfront Parkway", Fund 303, Program 037, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned street and road improvement program as a part of the City Transportation Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for the utilization of Federal funds for the development of an overpass of the BNSF mainline tracks in the vicinity of 38th Street and a new street, Riverfront Parkway, as an improvement project; and NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 037, entitled "Riverfront Overcrossing and Riverfront Parkway" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 037, for design and construction of the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $867,200.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 037, "Riverfront Overcrossing and Riverfront Parkway" as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Preliminary Engineering $ 867,200 Total Estimated Cost $ 867,200
