AfilEAR/A15 `.I 1/AfE c E5vE.
11.41
NOV 3 0 2031
IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION T
OF CONNELL DESIGN GROUP FOR CITY s eermg/Public See vi
APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL PROPERTY
USE PERMIT SPU #01-017
(COUNTRY CLUB DAYCARE)
ORDER
On November 9,2001, the decision approving the Special Property Use Permit for the construction of
a single-story wood-framed 3,000 square foot daycare facility with six off-street parking stalls at 1300-
100th Place SE, Everett,Washington was approved. On November 19, 2001, Paul McKee, City of
Everett Public Works Department, submitted a request of reconsideration of finding#10 which read:
The Applicant submitted that the amount of impervious surface to
be developed on-site will be less than 5,000 square feet. Because
the total area of the proposed project will result in less than 5,000
square feet of new development, there is no requirement for a
detention system. (Robbins testimony)
Mr. McKee requested that finding#10 be modified to read that while the new daycare to be developed
on-site will create more than 5,000 square feet of new impervious surface, the portion of new
impervious surface that is subject to significant pollutant deposition will be less than 5,000 square
feet. Therefore, the project will be required to provide streambank erosion control (detention),but not
runoff treatment(wetpond).
A review of the record indicates that Mr. McKee's request for reconsideration is consistent with his
testimony. Accordingly, finding of fact#10,as submitted in the November 9, 2001,decision,is
deleted and the following is substituted as finding#10:
The new daycare facility will create more than 5,000
square feet of new impervious surface. However, the
portion of the new impervious surface that will be subject to
significant pollutant deposition(he. drivable surface)will
be less than 5,000 square feet. Because of this, the
project will be required to provide streambank erosion
control(detention)but, will not be required to provide runoff
treatment(wetpond).
There are no other changes to the November 9,2001,decision. The decision remains as stated,
including all conditions of approval.
Done and dated this 29th day of November, 2001.
lit IDA 1:044,1e
Jam= .
