This permit was issued prematurely, as our Public Works Reviewer approved and issued the permit prior to <br />having our Traffic Engineering division review the proposal for traffic safety concerns and their requirements for <br />temporary structures in the right-of-way. Traffic's approval is required prior to issuance of a fence permit. We had Randy <br />do a site visit this morning to understand the site and to let you know as a courtesy that the permit would likely need to <br />be revised since it was issued prematurely. <br />I have diligently coordinated with our Traffic Engineering reviewer as well as the Public Works Inspector to revise your <br />fence permit to meet all requirements for fences located in the public right-of-way. Attached please find your revised <br />permit, which is the permit that will be considered issued and valid for you to construct from. You will note in both the <br />site plan and permit conditions that there are two significant changes to the approval: <br />1. The first change is the fence location off of the curb along North Park Dr, which shall be a minimum of 5ft clear <br />from the utility main that runs near the curb line (water and storm, both shown in the snapshot below from <br />MapEverett. These utilities shall be located in the field prior to starting your fence location by calling 811 for <br />locates, which has a 72 hour window for response. Depending on the location of the existing utility mains, this <br />may require your fence to be installed further back from the curb than you originally proposed, or could allow <br />
