Pending the resolution of the
comments below, you can provide direction for me to apply redlines, or provide two revised hard copies of the
drawings. In either case, please provide brief itemized responses to clarify any changes required or performed.
Comments:
1. The plumbing facilities counts should be verified to comply with the minimum requirements of Chapter
29. Where the existing counts are less than required, the design should not further reduce the count.
2. Verify if the door for the accessible compartment in Partial Plan 2/A3.1 should be reversed (i.e., locate hinge in
corner of compartment) to comply with ICC A117.1-09.
3. The typical water closet details should specify the flush control on the open side.
4. The grab bar details should include a note requiring blocking capable of supporting a minimum 250-pound load.
Please let me know if you have questions.
— Drew Martin, P.E.,S.E.
Associate Engineer—Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8810 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT Phone Hours: M/W/T: 8 am - 12 pm & 1 pm—3 pm;Tu: 1:00pm-3:00pm
everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
1
