Project summary statement: Amendment No. 3 will extend the contract expiration date by 6 months to allow completion of construction. The construction scheduled was delayed due to unanticipated utility conflicts and supply chain delays. The grant provides Water Quality Combined Financial Assistance grant funding for the Beverly Lake Water Quality Retrofit Project. The project will install water quality treatment devices on existing stormwater systems upstream of Beverly Lake. The project’s goal is to improve water quality in Beverly Lake and in Pigeon Creek #1 which is downstream of the lake. The grant will provide funds for design, permitting, and construction of the project. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 3 to Water Quality Combined Financial Assistance Agreement for the Beverly Lake Water Quality Retrofit Project.
