ORDINANCE NO. 2321 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of 41st Street, on the north side only, between High Street and Crescent Avenue, by grading for and construction of concrete sidewalks, six feet from the north edge of the present pavement, installation of neces- sary drainage, making necessary water main changes and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement , creating an assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, peti- tioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Public :forks and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true; and WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public ;',corks has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law; and WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public storks has recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and. it appearing to the City' Council that public convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made; now, therefore, THE CITY OP EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That 41st Street, on the north side only, be- tween High Street and Crescent Avenue, be improved by grading for and construction of concrete sidewalks, six feet from the north edge of the present pavement, installation of necessary drainage, and making necessary water main changes and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, according to the plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City En- gineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and ap- proved.
