[10:57 AM] Cindy Bergsma
Hi Niels..... I'm working up B2101-034 and your note reads see conditions. Then it reads approved,
see conditions in the note. Do I need to follow up on anything for this permit? Such as the Sales
Prohibition Covenant that needs to be recorded with the County?
Edited
[11:26 AM] Niels Tygesen
Hey Cindy, the comments under the conditions are:
• Will require final TDM approval and recorded TDM covenant prior to final; and
• Will require landscape inspection prior to final.
He is working on the tax exemption thing with planning mgmt currently, but that shouldn't be a
condition on the permit i wouldn't think.
(1 liked)
[11:27 AM] Cindy Bergsma
Am I putting that condition on the permit?
[11:30 AM] Cindy Bergsma
I see the Landscape that one I can put on there and the final inspection.
(1 liked)
[11:31 AM] Niels Tygesen
These items, especially the TDM stuff, to me read as conditions of approval. Landscape "inspection"
should have read as "approval".
Unless there's a recent change in what PS wants to put on a permit as a condition of issuance?
[11:47 AM] Cindy Bergsma
Important!
When you state TDM I think you are meaning the Traffic Mitigation fees proposed and they are
doing a study to show different or reduce amount? At approval we put the Landscape inspection or
the planner usually does. Your review is usually done online, I believe, so we don't have the hand
written notes on the back sheet to go off. I was just making sure when I approve and they pay I can
issue. No recent change from Permit Services that I know of.
[11:48 AM] Cindy Bergsma
I didn't mean to put that as important... that's weird.
[11:54 AM] Niels Tygesen
The TDM is separate from Traffic Mitigation Fees, it stands for 'Transportation Demand Management
Plan', and though it's under EMC 19 and generally something planners help facilitate with
developers, it's all under the purview of the City Engineer for review and approvals.
These guys have a preiimiary approval from Michael, but they haven't submitted a Final TDM Plan
yet for approval, and they'll need that approval from the traffic folks prior to the TDM covenant
