l <br /> . , <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2289 <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Tulalip Ave., <br /> from the south line of 34th Street to the north line of 35th Street, <br /> by the removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, and con- <br /> struction of 6-inch one course concrete pavement 20 feet wide, <br /> also the construction of concrete curbs and installation of ne- <br /> cessary drainage, making necessary ' ter main changes and doing <br /> all other work necessary in connection therewith to make a c ,ylete <br /> improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a Local <br /> Improvement District ±'und therefor and providing that payment for <br /> said improvement be made by special assessment on the property <br /> in said District under the mode of payment by bonds. <br /> WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, peti- <br /> tioning for said improvement, has heretofore been filed with the <br /> Commissioner of Public Works and said Commissioner has found the <br /> things set forth in said petition to be true; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with <br /> the City Council all data and information, as required by law; and <br /> WHEREAS,EAS, said. Commissioner of Public Works has recommend- <br /> ed to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, <br /> and it appearing to the City Council that public convenience and <br /> necessity requires such improvement to be made; now, therefore, <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Tulalip Avenue, from the south line of <br /> 34th Street to the north line of 35th Street, be improved by the <br /> removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, and construction <br /> of 6-inch one course concrete pavement 20 feet vide, and the con- <br /> struction of concrete curbs and installation of necessary drainage, <br /> making necessary water main changes and doing all other work ne- <br /> cessary to make a complete improvement, according to the plans <br /> and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City En— <br />
