This proposal has been developed based on the <br />information that was provided in your email dated March 7, 2024. The email included a Geotechnical <br />Engineering Scope of Work (Exhibit A-1) and maps showing the approximate alignments of the planned <br />water main replacements. We also based this proposal on a review of available topographic and geologic <br />maps of the site areas, aerial photographs of the site areas, as well as experience with projects of similar <br />size and scope. Exhibit A-1 also included descriptions of the planned water main replacements as <br />summarized in the following table: <br />Road From To Replacement Pipe <br />Rockefeller Avenue 16th Street 14th Street 8-inch Ductile Iron & Services <br />Oakes Avenue 14th Street 12th Street 8-inch &12-inch Ductile Iron <br />Lombard Avenue 16th Street 13th Street 8-inch & 12-inch Ductile Iron & Services <br />Colby Avenue 12th Street 10th Street 8-inch Ductile Iron & Services <br />13th Street Oakes Avenue Wetmore Avenue 12-inch Ductile Iron &Services <br />It is our current understanding that the new water main will include approximately 3,800 lineal feet of 8- <br />inch diameter, and 1,475 lineal feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron water pipe. The 8-inch water main <br />has a specified minimum cover of 36 inches, and the 12-inch water main has a specified minimum cover <br />of 48 inches. The project will also include removal or abandonment of valves, fire hydrants, water service <br />lines and installation of new water meter boxes and setters, related appurtenances and surface restoration. <br />The water main lines will be located within City of Everett Right-Of-Way (ROW) and easements. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Our geotechnical services will be performed in general accordance with the scope of services as presented <br />in Exhibit A-1. Below is a summary of the services to be provided: <br />1.Review Previous Geologic and Subsurface Information <br />A.Review available subsurface information, existing construction data and other <br />available geotechnical reports for the site vicinity.
