other general conditions that would render a vehicle incapable of being driven on a public <br /> highway. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS REQUIRED: The Responsible Person(s)shall take the following actions to correct the <br /> Code Violations at the Property: <br /> 1. Ensure the ENTIRE DETACHED GARAGE STRUCTURE is vacated IMMEDIATELY and remains <br /> vacant and effectively secure. <br /> 2. The garage structure entry doors must be effectively boarded, and windows secured,to prevent <br /> entry to ensure the structure remains vacant until occupancy is approved by the City of Everett <br /> Building Department. <br /> 3. Remove and properly dispose of unwanted items discarded on the property. <br /> 4. Items you wish to keep must be stored in an enclosed area,out of public view. <br /> 5. Ensure all garbage and trash is removed and that the exterior property and premises is <br /> maintained in a clean and sanitary condition,free from accumulation of litter or garbage. <br /> 6. Any inoperable vehicles must be removed from the property,or made operable to include <br /> current license,or they may be lawfully enclosed. Inoperable vehicle(s)may be stored inside a <br /> garage,or they may be covered by an opaque auto cover specifically designed to completely <br /> shield the vehicle from view.The cover must be in good condition and must be replaced if it is <br /> torn,weather-beaten,or acquires any other defects.Tarps and makeshift covers do not meet <br /> the requirement. <br /> 7. Submit complete applications for a electrical permit(s)to address the non-compliant electrical <br /> services for the duplex structure,and to locate and terminate the electrical power extended to <br /> the detached garage. Once the Electrical Permit(s)are issued,then correct and complete all of <br /> the deficiencies that are present,and have the work inspected and gain final permit approvals, <br /> by the Everett City building Division. <br /> Corrective actions 2-7 must be completed not later than March 18,2024. <br /> 8. Regarding additional unpermitted alterations to the garage structure,submit complete <br /> applications for all of the necessary and required permits and approvals to bring the garage <br /> structure on the property into compliance with the Everett Municipal Code. Once the Permits <br /> are issued,then correct and complete all of the deficiencies that are present within the <br /> structure(s) and have the work inspected and approved, by the Everett City building Division. <br /> Gain Final Inspection Approval for Corrective Action 8 not later than February 10,2025. <br /> Note that all required permits(if applicable)to perform the corrective action must be obtained from the <br /> proper issuing agency. <br /> Notice and Order Page 4 of 6 <br />
