They shared a number of <br />priori�es and ideas that the City Councilmembers might consider for a possible 2024 COVID <br />Recovery grant funding cycle. Details are below. <br /> <br /> Neighborhood Association Management <br /> Add $25,000 to mini grants to support website and email management, supplies, mailings, <br />trainings, and other items of interest <br /> Emergency Management and Preparation <br /> $25,000 to City’s Emergency Management Department to support CERT training and <br />supplies <br /> Neighborhood capital investments <br /> $25,000 to mini grants to support new neighborhood signage updates, readerboards, a- <br />boards and other signage <br /> Neighborhood Watch Program <br /> $10,000-$20,000 to Communications Department support neighborhood watch program <br /> Community investments <br /> $100,000 or more to Parks and Facilities Department to develop additional public restrooms <br /> $100,000 to Streets Division for additional sidewalk investments <br /> $50,000 to Parks and Facilities to support park investments such as new play structures, <br />covered areas, lighting, etc <br /> $25,000 or more to Public Works to fund Residential Graffiti Removal Program <br /> Public art- plinths, concrete barriers, murals <br /> $25,000 to Economic Development and PlaceMaking to fund new public art initiatives <br /> Violent Crime Prevention <br /> $25,000 to YMCA for community-led violence interruption initiatives <br /> $25,000 for dedicated slots for neighborhood youth in existing mentorship or other <br />programs <br /> Nonprofit investments of $25,000 per recipient <br /> Packs4Kids <br /> Victims Support Services <br /> Connect Casino Road childcare co-op program <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Neighborhood leaders also shared valuable feedback and support for permitting efforts, such as <br />providing new incentives for ADU construction and permit streamlining; hotel vouchers for the <br />unhoused; and consistent responsiveness for Everett at Work issue submissions.
