AI • in those election precincts in hich voting machines are used, by ;Nulling the lever above the statement, to-wit: AGAINST a system or plan for making additions, betterments and extensions to the present water system of the city of 1verett, consisting in particular of acquiring Flowing Lake in Snohomish County as an additional storage reservoir; acquiring title, by ,,cur chase and/or condemnation, to the water shed lands of said lake; constr:acting headworks and regulating control apparatus for the pur- pose of diverting the waters of Flowing Lake through a pipe line from said lake Into the present Sultan River supply p4.pe line; construc t- inga connecting pipe line main from Flowing Lake to a point on the present ;Sultan river supply pipe line; acquiring by purchase and/or condemnation all the lands, rights-of-way, property and property rights necessary and convenient for the construction, control, maintenance and operation of such Flowing Lake reservoir, headworks and connect- ing pipe line, providing all labor, materials and superlies necessary or incident to the construction of such project, and also of such other miscellaneous minor additions, betterments, extensions and im- provements as may be necessary, and for the issuance and sale of spec- ial wateI revenue fund bonds in the sum of =.;260,000.00, maturing serially in too to eight years from date of issue, bearing interest at a rate not exceeding six per cent.
