Meter service switches ' shall be of the so called "Stan- <br /> dardized" type. On switches of ee;ual rating, as made by several <br /> manufacturers of "Standardized" meter service switches, the cab- <br /> inet shall be interchangeable. Such switches shall permit inter- <br /> changeability of meter trims and other. accessories. <br /> 3. Approximate minimum overall lengths of meter service <br /> cabinets shall be 3U"amp. 10 inches. <br /> 60 " 14 " <br /> 100 „ 18 " <br /> 4. Switches shall be equ4ped with standard meter test clips. <br /> or links, so arranged that meters may with safety be tested, or <br /> bridged out for removal without interfering with the su .ply of cur- <br /> rent to the consumers rremises. <br /> 5. A groundin screw and boss shall be provided -:,ithin the <br /> cabinet, to permit the grounding of the neutral wire. • <br /> 6. Cabinets shall be provided with knockouts in the back, <br /> sides and ends to allow service and load wires to enter and leave <br /> through conduit or bushing. <br /> 7. Cabinets shall be 7.rovided i .h "U" shaped twistouts <br /> or equivalent in sides to permit connection with trough instead <br /> of conduit ipe in banked installations. <br /> 8. Cabinet shall be made so that the,f can be sealed shut, <br /> they shall be free from any openings, renderinc:• the interior whol- <br /> ly inacessable. <br />
