GeoTest Services, Inc.
2405 Hillside Lane, Everett, WA
October 8, 2021
Project No. 21-0845
very fine sand with some lenses of gravel and peat. The depositional environments associated
with Transitional Beds are hypothesized to be that of glaciolacustrine and glaciofluvial deposits,
mostly prior to glacial advance southward.
Our on -site explorations indicate that the encountered subsurface soil conditions are generally
in accordance with the mapped Fraser to Pre -Fraser Transitional Beds (QTb).
7
ra'
Image 4. Subsurface soil conditions within test pit TP-2, in which GeoTest observed weathered brown native
transitional beds, overlying stiff unweathered gray transitional beds.
Groundwater
At the time of our site visit on September 9, 2021, groundwater was not encountered within any
of the explorations on -site. Perched groundwater seepage should be anticipated during the wet
season or after long periods of precipitation, atop the low -permeability Transitional Bed soils that
were found at depth.
The groundwater conditions reported on the exploration logs are for the specific locations and
dates indicated, and therefore may not be indicative of other locations and/or times.
4
