ORDINANCE NO. 2359-98 <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to Business Improvement Areas, approving the 1999 <br /> budget for the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett City Council, with the passage of Ordinance No. 2097- <br /> 95, established a Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area(BIA): and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett City Council approved a 1996, 1997 and 1998 budget for <br /> expenditures for the BIA; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Downtown Everett Property Owners Association has proposed a 1999 <br /> annual budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed 1999 annual budget is necessary and <br /> appropriate in order to meet the objectives and purposes for which the BIA was formed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: The 1999 annual budget and proposed activities for the Downtown <br /> Business Improvement Area, District No. 1, attached and made a part of this ordinance as <br /> Attachment A, and the 1999 assessment, attached and made a part of this ordinance as <br /> Attachment B, are hereby approved. <br /> off` �� 4444.1rYt— <br /> :.'T i D.
