The cost of this would be $1 for the vehicle that a Kelly Blue Book value of <br />between $12,000 - $13,000. There is no match and there would not need to be a <br />budget amendment. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The Everett Police Department, Violent Crime Unit been using a Hyundai that was <br />loaned to the Police Department by the NICB for the last 2 years. The NICB has offered <br />to sell the vehicle to EPD for $1, to allow EPD to keep this vehicle for the purpose of <br />investigating auto theft, insurance fraud and other related criminal activity. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents and agreements with the National <br />Insurance Crime Bureau, acceptance, and utilization of Permanent Donation <br />Agreement for a Hyundai in the amount of $1.00. <br />City Council Agenda Item Cover Sheet
