The footings at Gridlines F/12-15 and D/14 were already <br /> in place. The contractor is expanding the footings by approximately 1' all around. The footing at <br /> Gridline D.6/15 is new. The contractor had cut the footings to the subgrade in existing material <br /> consisting of gray, slightly silty, gravely sand with chunks of concrete. GeoTest probed the <br /> subgrade with a 3/8" T probe under full body weight and achieved 2-5" of penetration.
