It has one unit per <br /> floor. The building has 2-stories and a basement. <br /> Description of Permit requested: The permit request is to remove an old exterior fire alarm <br /> system that is non-functional. The fire alarm pulls are exterior to the units with two being <br /> located outside on exterior walls where anyone could come along and pull them, and the third <br /> being in a common entry space (for two units, but still outside of those units). After discussion <br /> with the fire inspector, it is likely that the external fire alarm system is not required by code and, <br /> so, can be removed. This permit request is for the removal of the fire alarm system.
