WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of the hearing and determination of said petition has been duly given by the city Clerk of said city a required by law, and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing no person appeared or objected and no objections of any kind were made to the grantingof said petition, and, WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council that said petition should be granted, the said amity Council does hereby determine to vacate said portion of said street and alleys, now, theefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That all that part of the southerly half of Mary- land Avenue. , in Central Park Addition described as follows Begin- ning at the intersection of the center line of Maryland Avenue, with the east margin of Delaware Avenue, Central Park Addition the point of beginning, thence easterly along the center line of Mary- land Avenue, a distance of 314.56 feet to a curve to th4 right whose radius is 70 feet and the central angle 72° 58' 58" as platted in Central Park Addition; thence along said curve to an intersection with a produced line that runs parallel and distant ten (10) feet S'Easterly from the southeasterly line of alley between Blk. 8 and Park Tract Central Park Addition; thence northeasterly along said line to an intersection with the east margin of Maryland Avenue, thence southeasterly along the east margin of Maryland Ave- nue, to an intersection with a line produced easterly that runs parallel and distant 10 feet north of the south line of lots 1 to 13 , Inc.
