ORDINANCE NO. 2 , <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of 26th Street, <br /> from Virginia to Fulton Avenues, by the removal of old lumber, <br /> grading to proper grade, construction of concrete curbs and caa- <br /> struction of Portland cement pavement 24 feet wide, installation <br /> of necessary drainage and making necessary water main changes, <br /> and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement; <br /> also by the construction of concrete sidewalks from Baker to Ful- <br /> ton Avenues, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete <br /> improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 3184 of <br /> the City of -Everett; creating an assessment district; creating a <br /> Local Improvement District Fund therefor, providing that said im- <br /> provement be made by special assessment upon the property in said <br /> district under the mode of payment by bonds. <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 31;'4 of the City of Everett, <br /> the City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order <br /> the improvement as above outlined and doing all other work necess- <br /> ary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in ac- <br /> cordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. That 26th Street, from Virginia to Fulton Avenues <br /> be improved by the removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, <br /> construction of concrete curbs and construction of Portland cement <br /> pavement 24 feet wide, installation of necessary drainage and mak- <br /> ing necessary water main changes, and doing all other work necess- <br /> ary to make a complete improvement; also by the construction of <br /> concrete sidewalks from Baker to Fulton Avenues, and doing all oth- <br /> er work necessary to make a complete improvement according to the <br /> plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City <br />
