Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br /> b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br /> c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations (if applicable). <br /> Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br /> for compliance with the adopted building codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your <br /> application will be given priority and the review will recommence. <br /> Architectural (Reviewer: Yin Lu) <br /> 1. Per email discussion, please note on the floor plan and detail that"existing concrete slab to <br /> remain, with new leveler". <br /> 2. Please provide information or detail how new footing connect to existing courtyard slab. <br /> 3. View 1/S3.1 shall be called out from parent view. I was not able to find the parent view of <br /> this detail. If this detail refers to where truss sitting on existing wall, please update the <br /> detail without eave and with cricket. <br /> 4. Please identify the new shear wall on the floor plan. You may tag the shear wall on <br /> architectural plan. <br /> 5. Please provide detail section at where new roof meets existing roof at north end. <br /> 6. Per email discussion, please show existing stair to be demo and new stair shall be noted as <br /> new in proposed floor plan. And architect shall provide detail of stair tread, riser and etc. <br /> per IRC 311.7. If you keep the exiting stair, no new drawing will be required except for note <br /> on the existing and new floor plan. <br /> 7. Please update architectural roof plan on sheet A5 to reflect confirmed design on 2/A3.1 per <br /> email discussion on 09/06/2023. <br /> 8. Please note the fireplace as "free-standing" electrical fireplace. It looks like there shall not <br /> be any modification at exterior wall, nor any new wall built to embed the fireplace. <br /> Structural (Reviewer: Cal Bearman) <br /> (Comments provided by Cal Bearman P.E., CBEARMAN @ EVERETTWA.GOV) <br /> 1. Architectural comment 4. above addresses the shear wall which is missing on a plan sheet. <br /> The calculations indicate a SW1 is to be used with STHD14 hold downs. Please identify the <br /> new shear wall and hold down locations. Revise the shear wall schedule as necessary and <br /> provide a hold down schedule as required.
