A statement on special inspections has not been provided and should be provided on the plans. Please note that Basement Foundation designed with 2500 psi so special inspection not required.4000 psi requirement is standard for durability, not code strength requirement. Code has not caught up to concrete production requirements, concrete suppliers don't even deliver concrete that weak anymore.
