Kelsey Heyd
From: Kelsey Heyd
Sent: Tuesday, July 12, 2022 8:45 AM
To: lyashenkostepan@gmail.com
Subject: B2201-024 - 5801 S 2nd Ave Unit B
Attachments: Geological Hazardous Area Covenant Updated 6_12_19.pdf, Geological Hazardous Area
Covenant Updated 6_12_19.docx; Critical Area Protective Covenant 2022.pdf; Critical
Area Protective Covenant 2019.docx
Good Morning,
Thank you for submitting a permit for the proposed Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit at 5801 S 2"d Ave Unit B, permit
B2201-024. I am the planner conducting the review for this application. I have marked the permit as tentatively
approved for Planning however prior to issuance, the following items must be addressed:
Critical Area. Due to the critical area and buffer located on the subject property, a Critical Area Covenant and
Critical Area Site Plan (CASP) must be recorded for the property with the Snohomish County Auditor's Office. I
have attached both the Word and pdf versions of the Covenant document, whichever version is easier for you to
complete. The PDF version includes the minimum CASP requirements on page 7. The document must be signed
and notarized; please utilize whichever signature page is appropriate based on the ownership of the property
i.e. single, married, or corporation. Once recorded, please provide a copy to me.
Geological Hazardous Covenant. A geological hazardous covenant must also be signed and recorded for this
property due to the geologically hazardous conditions of the site. I have attached both the Word and pdf
versions of the Declaration (starting on page 1) and Agreement (starting on page 8) Geo Covenant documents,
whichever version is easier for you to complete. The documents must be signed and notarized; please utilize
whichever signature page is appropriate based on the ownership of the property i.e. single, married, or
corporation. Note: The Agreement form (starting on page 8) requires signature from the Mayor's office prior
to recording; once you have the documents signed and notarized, please return them to me and 1 will route to
the Mayor's office accordingly and follow up when they're all ready to be recorded with the County.
To avoid additional recording fees from the County, it is recommended that you do not encroach into the 1" margins
around each page of the documents. For document recording instructions, office hours, etc. please refer to the
Snohomish County Auditor's website directly: https://snohomishcountywa.gov/278/Recording.
These comments are only related to the land use code and do not account for all possible requirements from other
departments. For general permit questions, please contact Permit Services at PermitServices@everettwa.gov or
425.257.8810. General Planning questions can be directed to the Planner On Duty at 425.257.8731 or
Planning@everettwa.gov.
Thanks,
- Kelsey Heyd
Associate Planner I Community, Planning & Economic Development
425.257.8731 13200 Cedar Street 2nd Fl., Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to
the Public Records Act.
