The Award cost is $618,465.46, which includes <br />Washington state sales tax. <br /> <br />Project summary statement: <br />Bids were requested from companies to provide Val-Matic Butterfly Valves with Rotork Actuators <br />securely attached to the valve body. The current valves have reached or exceeded their useful <br />life span. The valves are required to control the direct filtration of raw water into clean potable <br />water at the plant. The WFP standardized to the combination of Va-Matic butterfly valves and <br />Rotork actuators to match the previously upgraded system. <br />The Invitation for Bid was released on March 6, 2024, to the City of Everett website and <br />advertised in the Everett Herald. On April 9, 2024, one bid was received from Ferguson <br />Enterprises. Staff evaluated the bid response and found that it meets the specifications in the <br />Invitation for Bid.
