Memorandum of Understanding Between <br />City of Everett (Everett Public Library) and Imagine Children’s Museum <br /> <br /> <br />Imagine Children’s Museum (Imagine) will form a partnership with City of Everett <br />(Everett Public Library - EPL) to implement the Humanities Washington Prime Time <br />Family Reading program for families at Madison Elementary. The program will take <br />place at Imagine Children’s Museum, 1502 Wall St, Everett WA 98201, and at the <br />Evergreen Branch Library, 9512 Evergreen Way, Everett WA 98204. <br /> <br />The program goals are to: <br />1) Deliver quality humanities education experiences, <br />2) Increase public library use, <br />3) Increase family bonding and reading time, <br />4) Positively affect the attitude and behavior regarding reading, <br />5) Improve academic achievement. <br /> <br /> <br />Imagine agrees to the following: <br />• Imagine will host three Prime Time sessions on May 7, 14, and 21, 2024. Each <br />session will begin at 5:00 p.m. and run for 90 minutes. <br />• Imagine will procure all books, meals and other materials distributed to families <br />for each weekly program. <br />• Imagine will provide staff to fulfill the roles of the Program Coordinator, <br />Humanities Scholar, and Preschool Assistant as outlined in the Humanities <br />Washington Team Member Responsibilities document (attached). <br />• Open and regular communication with Everett Public Library staff. <br /> <br />Everett Public Library agrees to the following: <br />• EPL will host three Prime Time sessions at the Evergreen Branch on April 16, 23, <br />and 30, 2024. Each session will begin at 5:00 p.m. and run for 90 minutes. <br />• EPL will provide staff to fulfill the role of Storyteller as outlined in the Team <br />Member Responsibilities document (attached). <br />• EPL will offer additional staff support to ensure access to library facilities and <br />adequate support for families while attending all six Prime Time sessions. <br />Imagine and EPL will work jointly with staff at Madison Elementary to provide <br />communications to families participating in the program. <br />For services provided by the Storyteller, Imagine will pay EPL a stipend of $875. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
