• 1106 ORDINANCE NO 2198 . An Oroinance providing for the improvement of Terrace Drive from 41st to 42nd street, by the installation of a sewer and its necessary appurtenances and doing all other work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a Local Improvement District Fund therefor and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds, ihereas, a majority petition of the property owners petitioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Public orks and said Commissioner has found the things set forth in said petition to be true, and, ,hereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the City Council all data and information, as required by law, and , Jhereas, said Commissioner of Public 11iorks has recommended to the City Council that said improvement aetitioned. for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, now therefore. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That Terrace Drive from 41st to 42nd Street, be improved by the installation of a sewer and its necessary appurtenances and doing all other work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, acdording to the plans and specifications prepared unaer the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2 : That the cost and expense of such improvement includ- ing all necessary incidental expenses shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the-costs and expenses of such improvement, -1-
