I am
reviewing the request for Planning. It has been brought to my attention that there is an active Code Enforcement Case
on this property, CE22-0655.The violations as identified in CE22-0655 must be addressed prior to approval/issuance of
your current permit application.
The violation details indicate a fence was constructed, likely within the right-of-way, without a permit(screenshot
below). Fence height, design, and location requirements are identified in EMC 19.40 and also can be found within the
City's Fence handout here: Fence-Handout-PDF (everettwa.gov)
The property's frontage is on Rucker Avenue. A fence may be 3'6"tall within the front setback. A fence may be up to 6'
in height within the front setback if the fence is at least 10' from the sidewalk and is at least 70%transparent from 3'—
6'. Fences proposed within the public right-of-way require a Public Works permit per EMC 19.40.030. Please review and
revise your plans accordingly.
Please let me know if I can provide any additional information!
t
Nk
i -
— 0rrr,/.`Y Danielle Marshall
Assistant Planner Community, Planning and Economic Development
11r` 425-257-7281 3200 Cedar St, Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT ' v.-` everettwa.gov Facebook I Twitter
1
