RESOLUTION NO. ______________ <br />A RESOLUTION declaring a 2009 Navistar International 7600 10 Yard Dump Truck (J0095) <br />surplus and authorizing it for sale at public auction. <br />WHEREAS, <br />1.The City has a 2009 Navistar International 7600 10 Yard Dump Truck (J0095), and <br />2.The above-referenced equipment is no longer of value or use to the City; and <br />3.Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for surplus or disposition of City- <br />owned personal property; and <br />4.Based on the guidelines set forth in EMC 3.88.020, a public auction is the disposition method <br />that best meets the City’s interests and <br />5.The City’s Procurement Manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of the surplus <br />property and has recommended the surplus of the above-referenced vehicle and equipment by <br />public auction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: <br />1.The City has a 2009 Navistar International 7600 10 Yard Dump Truck (J0095); <br />2.The disposition of this equipment at a public auction is hereby authorized. <br />_________________________________________ <br />Councilmember introducing Resolution <br />Passed and approved this _____ day of ___________________, 2024. <br />______________________________________ <br />Council President <br />8030 <br />29th May <br />Judy Tuohy
