mounds as described in this ordinance and for the acquiring and improv- <br /> ing lands for park purposes end childrens ' play founds as set out in <br /> this ordinance shall vote a ballot, containing the following statement <br /> of the proposition by placing an (x) in the square on said ballot opposite <br /> and at the right of said statement,t o-wit : <br /> IN FAVOR OF the proposition for issuing park bonds of the City of <br /> Everett in the sum of ,30,000.00 for the purpose of accLuiring, by purcIn. se <br /> or condemnation lands for park purposes and childrens ' play .grounds and <br /> for the improvement of s-o id lands and installation of play around <br /> equipment therein. <br /> Every voter at such election desiring to vote against such proposed <br /> issue of bonds for park purposes and children 's play grounds as mentioned <br /> and described in this ordinance, shall vote a balibitcontaining the <br /> following statement of said proposition by placing an (x) in the square <br /> on said ballot opposite and at the right of said statema' t,to-wit : <br /> AGAINST the proposition for issuingpark bonds of the City of Everett <br /> in the sum of y,30,000.00 for the purpose of acquiring, by purchase or <br /> condemnation, lands for park purposes and childrens' play grounds and for <br /> the improvement of said lands and installation of play ground equipment <br /> therein. <br /> The two statements of said proposition above set forth shall be <br /> printed on a single sheet and opposite and to the right of each statement <br /> of the propositions to be voted upon there shall be printed a blank square <br /> within which the voter shall by making an (x) indicate whether he voted <br /> in favor of or against the proposition submitted. <br /> Section gb: If, at the election held a.s provided in this ordinari ce' <br /> three-fifths (3/5) of the qualified voters of the.
