May 29, 2024 <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion continued with Police Chief John DeRousse answering council questions. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Vogeli who voted <br />no. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – WAIVING BIDDING REQUIREMENTS, MULTI-YEAR SOLE-SOURCE LPR CAMERAS, <br />PTZ CAMERAS, GUNSHOT DETECTION DEVICES, AND SERVICES <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 8031 waiving public bidding requirements and approving a multiple-year sole-source <br />purchase of Flock Safety © LPR Cameras, PTZ Cameras, Gunshot Detection Devices, and <br />associated services from Flock Safety. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />BID REJECTION – EDGEWATER CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, to reject bid from <br />IMCO General Construction, Inc., and aware the Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement Project <br />to Granite Construction Company of Everett, WA, in the amount of $25,409,890.65. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Ryan Sass provided a briefing and answered council questions. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – SUPPORTING CITY OF EVERETT PROPOSITION 1 <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Bader, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 8032 supporting City of Everett Proposition 1, placed on the ballot by the City Council <br />through the passage of Resolution No. 8021, concerning public safety and essential public <br />services. <br />
