Maintaining an Updated Construction SWPPP:
The construction SWPPP shall be retained on-site or within reasonable access to the site.
The SWPPP shall be modified whenever there is a change in the design, construction,
operation, or maintenance at the construction site that has, or could have, a significant
effect on the discharge of pollutants to waters of the state.
The SWPPP shall be modified if, during inspections or investigations conducted by the
owner/operator, or the applicable local or state regulatory authority, it is determined that the
SWPPP is ineffective in eliminating or significantly minimizing pollutants in stormwater
discharges from the site. The SWPPP shall be modified as necessary to include
additional or modified BMPs designed to correct problems identified. Revisions to the
SWPPP shall be completed within seven days following inspection.
13: protect all permanent BMPs from sedimentation through installation and
maintenance of erosion and sediment control BMPs on portions of the site that drain into
these permanent BMPs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT NO. 3 - SOURCE CONTROL OF
POLLUTION
The intent of source control is to prevent stormwater from encountering pollutants. Source
control BMPs can be operational or structural in nature. This section contains practices and
procedures to reduce the release of pollutants. Provided is a description of all known,
available and reasonable source control BMPs that will be used on your site to prevent
stormwater from encountering pollutants. Source control BMPs are selected, designed and
maintained in accordance with the 2019 SWMMWW Volume IV.
The following source control BMPs are required for this project:
BMP S411: for landscaping and lawn/vegetation management
In addition, these source control BMPs are required. Correcting illicit connections to
storm drains (S410), formation of a pollution prevention team (S453), preventative
maintenance/good housekeeping (S454), spill prevention and cleanup (S455), employee
training (S456), inspections (S457), and recordkeeping (S458).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT NO. 4 - PRESERVATION OF NATURAL
DRAINAGE SYSTEMS AND OUTFALLS
This project consists of one on-site basin that is within North Creek Basin. Stormwater on
the site currently sheet flow southeast towards through the neighboring single-family
property to an existing storm drainage system at Holly Drive.
The project has been designed to collect all runoff from the new impervious and pervious
surfaces proposed on this site and releasing flows to the existing conveyance system the
same as in existing conditions. This will be done by constructing the driveways to drain
toward one side, collecting and dispersing the flow toward vegetated area dispersion
Drainage Report—9227 4th Ave W Everett,WA 98204
Nov. 10,2022 Page 13
