such establishment a 6ertificate from the Health Officer, certifying <br /> that such person has been examined by the Health Officer or his <br /> duly authorized agent, and that there is no danger from the employ- <br /> ment of such person, such certificate to be issued and such examina- <br /> tion to be wade by the Health Officer withwithwit. charge to the applicantla <br /> for such examination 'ii nRrti fi r;a'F.P Such certificate shall lbe at <br /> all times kept on file in the office of the employer of such person <br /> and open for inspection at all reasonable hours by the Health Officer <br /> or his duly authorized assistants , and if at any time anyinfectious <br /> or contagious disease, rash or skin trouble shall abear, the Health <br /> Officer shall have the authority to at once exclude such person from <br /> the establishment where employed , and it shall be unlawful for any <br /> person so excluded to return to work, or for the employer to allow <br /> such person so affected to work in his establishment, so long as <br /> said person is affected with any contagious or infectious dieease, <br /> rash or skin trouble . It shall be the duty of each employe in any <br /> bakery, restaurant , candy-kitchen or confectionery to furnish to <br /> his employer, or person in charge of the abovenamed establishments, <br /> such certificate of health annually. " <br /> Section 2 : That Ordinance ;`?o.1551 of the City of Everett <br /> be and the same is hereby further amended, by adding three new <br /> sections thereto, to be called Sections 12A, 12B ,12C, which shall <br /> read as follows, to-wit : <br /> "Section 12A : It shall be unlawful for any person to <br /> expectorate within any place where food of any character is <br /> prepared for human use, except in special receptacles maintained for <br /> the purpose. Such receptacles shall be made of some material imper- <br /> vious to water, and shall be bleaned at least once in every twenty- <br /> four (24) hours . A sufficient number of such receptacles shall be <br /> provided in every place where Loot' is prepared. It shall be unlawful <br /> for any person to commit a nuisance of any character within any <br /> place where food for human use is prop red. <br /> -2- <br />
