Industrial insurance coverage for the Subcontractor’s employees working in <br />Washington as required in Title 51 RCW; <br />b. An employment security department number as required in Title 50 RCW; <br />c. A state excise tax registration number as required in Title 82 RCW; <br />d. An electrical contractor license, if required by Chapter 19.28 RCW; <br />e. An elevator contractor license, if required by Chapter 70.87 RCW. <br />4. Not be disqualified from bidding on any public works contract under RCW 39.06.010 or <br />39.12.065(3). <br />5. If bidding on a public works project subject to the apprenticeship utilization requirements <br />in RCW 39.04.320, not have been found out of compliance by the Washington state <br />apprenticeship and training council for working apprentices out of ratio, without <br />appropriate supervision, or outside their approved work processes as outlined in their <br />standards of apprenticeship under chapter 49.04 RCW for the one-year period <br />immediately preceding the date of the bid solicitation; <br /> <br />6. Within the three-year period immediately preceding the date of the bid solicitation, not <br />have been determined by a final and binding citation and notice of assessment issued by <br />the department of labor and industries or through a civil judgment entered by a court of <br />limited or general jurisdiction to have willfully violated, as defined in RCW 49.48.082, any <br />provision of chapter 49.46, 49.48, or 49.52 RCW; and <br />7. Have received training on the requirements related to public works and prevailing wage <br />under in accordance with the requirements of RCW 39.04.350(f), or demonstrate <br />exemption from such requirements. <br />The Contract Documents shall apply to Subcontractors and Suppliers as if each had signed the <br />Contract with the Owner. Contractor shall include the provisions of these Contract Documents <br />or a “flow down” clause in each contract with Subcontractors and Suppliers. <br />4.4. RESPONSIBILITIES <br />4.4.1. Subcontractors, Manufacturers and Suppliers <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for the adequacy, efficiency and sufficiency of <br />Subcontractors, manufacturers, Suppliers and their employees. <br />4.4.2. Contractor's Employees <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for the adequacy, efficiency and sufficiency of its <br />employees. Workers shall have sufficient knowledge, skill and experience to perform properly <br />the Work assigned to them. <br />4.4.3. Payment for Labor and Materials <br />The Contractor shall pay and require its Subcontractors to pay any and all accounts for labor <br />including Worker's Compensation premiums, State Unemployment and Federal Social Security <br />payments and other wage and salary deductions required by law. The Contractor also shall pay <br />and cause its Subcontractors to pay any and all accounts for services, Equipment, and <br />materials used by him and its Subcontractors during the performance of Work under this <br />Contract. The Contractor shall pay such accounts as they become due and payable. If <br />requested by the Owner, the Contractor shall promptly furnish proof of payment of such <br />accounts to the Owner.
