City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 <br /> <br />Advertisement for Bids <br />001113-1 202082-10 May 2024 <br />pw://Carollo/Documents/WA/Everett/202082-100000/04 Design/04 Specs/Carollo/001113 (FS-100) <br /> <br />SECTION 00 1113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 20th Street Sewer Rehabilitation Project will be <br />received at the office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor Everett Municipal Buillding, 2930 Wetmore, <br />Everett, WA, 98201 until 2:00 p.m. on June 18, 2024. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened <br />and read aloud publicly via live streaming, or bidders may attend the bid opening in person at <br />2930 Wetmore, Everett, WA, 98201. The link for the webcast is located at <br />https//www.everettwa.gov/319/purchasing. <br />The engineer’s estimate for this Project is $ 1,750,000, not including sales tax. <br />The City of Everett owns several sewer pipelines and sewer manholes that have shown signs of <br />corrosion and is seeking a Contractor to rehabilitate 2,450 linear feet of 36-inch on 20th Street <br />and an additional 750 feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, and 24-inch sewer pipe from Mill to Winter Street <br />and behind 1525 East Marine View Drive. 12 manholes within the City will also be rehabilitated. <br />The rehabilitation work will be performed during Summer 2024. <br />Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) <br />is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and <br />clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides <br />Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order <br />full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. <br />It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future <br />addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not <br />register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on- <br />line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at <br />(425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration. <br />All bids must be made upon the City forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied <br />by a bid bond or certified check or cashier’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) <br />of the total amount of the Bid, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br />One hundred percent (100) payment and performance Bonds will be required of the successful <br />Bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. <br />No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. <br />The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the <br />City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of 45 days after bid <br />opening. <br />The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and regulations <br />pertaining to equal employment opportunities. <br />By order of the City Council, Everett, Washington. <br />END OF SECTION 00 1113
