City of Everett 01 11 00 - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />01 11 00 - 1 SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> <br />SECTION 01 11 00 - SUMMARY OF WORK <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 WORK COVERED BY THIS CONTRACT <br />A. The Work includes, but not limited to, Tenant Improvement Work will be performed at <br />two locations commonly referred to as South Precinct and Downtown Police <br />Headquarters. Work at South Precinct includes extensive interior upgrades to two <br />Locker Rooms, and at Downtown Police Headquarters there will be targeted demolition <br />to reconfigure several interior office spaces, and reconfiguration and finish upgrades to <br />a conference room and the Forensic Investigation Unit. Work to be performed at South <br />Precinct located at 1121 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA 98208 and Downtown Police <br />Headquarters at 3002 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br />B. JOB DESCRIPTION: The following is a general outline and is not intended to be a <br />complete listing of the work to be accomplished nor is it intended to be used to indicate <br />the order the work is to be completed. All items listed below is a general list of items <br />included in the work and should be verified prior to bidding. The Work includes but is <br />not limited to the supply and installation of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary <br />to perform the work in full. <br />C. Base Bid includes the following items: <br />1. Interior renovations. <br />2. Building improvements <br />3. Repairs. <br />4. Site cleanup and restoration. <br />D. Work under the Contract shall also include: <br />1. Protection of work in place and all stored items relating to the work. <br />2. Moving of any stored items or temporary facility where it interferes with work by <br />the Owner or under separate contract. <br />3. Providing and paying for additional on-site or off-site storage facilities, work areas <br />or parking needed for safe and efficient execution of the work or to meet other <br />terms of the contract. <br />4. Contractor or designated subcontractors will obtain and manage permits for <br />electrical and plumbing specialties as required by building code. <br />1.2 WORK BY OTHERS <br />A. OTHER CONTRACTS: The Owner shall have the right to let other Contracts in <br />connection with the Work, and the Contractor shall cooperate with any such Contractors. <br />B. "N.I.C." Items indicated "NIC" shall be furnished and installed by the Owner, or by other <br />Contracts.
