Park District Planned Development Overlay | Exhibit A.1 – Title 19 Code Modifications Page 10 <br />Exhibit A.1_Park District PDO_Code Modifications_24-0703 <br />5 – Signs <br />The Park District PDO utilizes the provisions of Sign Category B (see EMC 19.36.040) rather <br />than the Sign Category C, which applies to the existing UR3 zone. This complements the <br />commercial uses of the Neighborhood Business zone permitted in the PDO. <br />The Park District PDO is considered a nonresidential zone for the purpose of interpreting the <br />temporary sign standards of EMC 19.36.060. <br />In the Park District PDO, for the purposes of sign regulations, “street frontage” is interpreted as <br />the frontage for each tenant in buildings with more than one tenant. <br />The Park District Design Standards (Exhibit A.2) provide additional design standards within the <br />PDO.
