June 26, 2024 <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />PROPOSED ACTION ITEMS/PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - COUNCIL BILLS 2405-10, 2405-11, AND 2405-12 <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy recused herself and left Council Chambers at 7:19 p.m. President Schwab <br />opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2405-10 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE relating to the Park District, adopting a Planned Development Overlay <br />under Chapter 19.29 EMC and approving a Development Agreement <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2405-11 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE adopting an amendment related to the Park District Development to the <br />Everett Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2405-12 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE vacating Larch, Hemlock, and Fir Streets lying south of the 12th Street and <br />North of 14th Street in the Plat of Baker Heights. <br /> <br />Yorik Stevens-Wajda, Planning, presented three proposed amendments and Mary Swenson, <br />Everett Housing Authority, provided a Park District presentation. Considerable discussion ensued <br />with Yorik, Mary, and Jason Morrow, Everett Housing Authority, answering Council questions. <br /> <br />The following member of the public spoke: Donna Moulton <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Bader, to continue the public <br />hearing until the third and final reading, which is scheduled for July 10. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
