The original total <br />compensation was $90,000. Due to an increased need of services, the budget will be <br />increased by $60,000, for a total revised compensation of $150,000. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The current agreement allows WDFW to provide law enforcement services around the <br />Lake Chaplain Tract, demonstrating a visible and active presence while enforcing all <br />Washington State and County laws/codes and City regulations set forth in Everett <br />Municipal Code Chapter 8.64. <br />Amendment No. 1 will increase the total compensation amount on the existing contract, <br />set to expire December 31, 2024, for continued security inspections, investigations in <br />relation to use of property, and escorting trespassers and rule violators off the property. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to Washington Department of Fish and <br />Wildlife Law Enforcement Services Contract to increase compensation in the amount of <br />$60,000 for a total contract amount of $150,000. <br />
