An Ordinance regulating and licensing the use of weighing machines and providing a penalty for the violation of said Ordinance. 1 THE CITY OF EV'+ ETT DOES QRDAI1 : 2 3 Section 1 : It shall be unlawful to place upon any 4 public sidewalk within the limits of the City of Everett any 5 weighing machine for the use of the public without having first 6 obtained a license therefor as hereinafter provided. 7 Section 2 : Before any person shall be licensed to 8 place upon any public sidewalk within the limits of the City of 9I Everett a weighing machine for the use of the public, he shall 19 make application to the City Clerk for a license therefor. The 11 m,y Clerk 14 thereupon issue such license and deliver the same 12 to the City Treasurer who shall collect the amount of the licerite 13 fee which is hereby fixed at the sum of Five ( 5.00}Dollars 14 per year and upon payment to him of said amount shall deliver 15 said license to the applicant therefor.
