ORDI7A7CE No 2072 <br /> An Ordinance an ending Section 2 of Ordinance No . 1941 <br /> entitled : " An Ordinance relating to public health and morals ; <br /> regulating public dances and the conducting of dance halls, and <br /> dancing schools and providing for the licensing thereof . Requiring <br /> the holaing of a permit by persons enoai,ed in the conducting of <br /> dancing sools and aance halls and providing a penalty for the <br /> violation threof. <br /> THE CITY OF EVE?ETT DOES ORDAIN <br /> , <br /> Section I. : That Section 2 of Ordinance No . 1941 be amended <br /> to read as follows : <br /> "Section 2 :— No person, association, copartnership or <br /> corporation shall hold any pudic dance without first obtaining a <br /> permit from the Commissionef of Safety and a license from the city <br /> clerk following the payment to the City Treasurer of $2.50 license <br /> fee for each such permit and license granted ; nor shall any person, <br /> association, copartnership or corporation conduct or maintain any <br /> dance halls or danoing abbools or any other place where dancing is <br /> conducted as herein proviaed without first procurring so to do from <br /> the City Clerk.
