STORM DRAINAGE NOTES
<br />1. NO PART OF THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM SHALL BE COVERED, CONCEALED,
<br />OR PUT INTO USE UNTIL IT HAS BEEN INSPECTED, TESTED, AND
<br />ACCEPTED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT.
<br />2. ALL WORK AND MATERIAL SHALL CONFORM TO THE CITY OF EVERETT
<br />DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND

<br />3. APPROXIMATE LOCATIONS OF EXISTING UTILITIES HAVE BEEN
<br />OBTAINED FROM AVAILABLE RECORDS AND ARE SHOWN FOR
<br />CONVENIENCE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
<br />VERIFICATION OF LOCATIONS AND TO AVOID DAMAGE TO ANY
<br />ADDITIONAL UTILITIES SHOWN. IF CONFLICTS WITH EXISTING UTILITIES
<br />ARISE DURING CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE
<br />PUBLIC WORKS INSPECTOR AND ANY CHANGES REQUIRED SHALL BE

<br />7. ALL PIPE SHALL BE PLACED ON STABLE EARTH, OR IF IN THE OPINION

<br />PLAN DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN APPROVAL OF PERMANENT ROAD OR
<br />DRAINAGE DESIGN (E.G. SIZE AND LOCATION OF ROADS, PIPES,
<br />RESTRICTORS, CHANNELS, RETENTION FACILITIES, UTILITIES).
<br />2. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THESE ESC PLANS AND THE
<br />CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, REPLACEMENT, AND UPGRADING OF
<br />THESE ESC FACILITIES IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE

<br />10. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE INDUSTRY BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES TO
<br />PREVENT PETROLEUM PRODUCTS, FERTILIZERS, CONCRETE BY-PRODUCTS
<br />AND OTHER POLLUTANTS FROM ENTERING OFF -SITE DRAINAGE COURSES.
<br />SLASH PILES AND OTHER SOLID WASTE SHALL BE DISPOSED OF IN
<br />ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL REGULATIONS.
<br />11. WASTEWATER FROM PROJECT ACTIVITIES AND DE -WATERING SHALL BE
<br />ROUTED TO AN UPLAND AREA FOR REMOVAL OF FINE SEDIMENTS AND
<br />OTHER CONTAMINANTS. ONLY CLEAN, UNPOLLUTED WATER SHALL LEAVE
<br />THE SITE.
<br />12. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP OFF -SITE STREETS CLEAN AT ALL TIMES BY
<br />SWEEPING. WASHING OF THESE STREETS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED WITHOUT
<br />PRIOR CITY OF EVERETT APPROVAL.

<br />CLEARING LIMITS SHOWN ON PLAN REPRESENT MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE
<br />EXTENT OF CLEARING ON THE PROPERTY. OWNER MAY ELECT TO CLEAR
