July 24, 2024 <br />1 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., July 24, 2024, by <br />President Schwab. <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Fosse, Schwab, Vogeli, <br />Zarlingo, and Tuohy were present. Council Members Rhyne and Bader were excused. <br />Dominic, Boy Scouts of America Troop 19, led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Vogeli recited the land acknowledgement. <br />The minutes of the July 17, 2024, meeting were approved. <br />MAYOR <br />Mayor Franklin had no comments. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Council received three (3) written comments and the following members of the public spoke: <br />Alexander Smith and Annie Fitzgerald. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Member Zarlingo commented on his attendance at the groundbreakings at Reservoir 3 <br />and the Port of Everett Restaurant Row and at the Pinehurst - Beverly Park neighborhood <br />meeting. <br />Council Member Vogeli commented on her attendance at the Traffic Advisory Committee <br />meeting and the groundbreaking at Reservoir 3. She also commented on the deaths of Mike <br />Jerkowitz and Sonya Massey. <br />Council Member Fosse commented on her attendance at the ribbon cutting of Creative Styles, a <br />new barbershop, and at the Multiuse Facility Fiscal Advisory Committee and the Safe Community <br />Committee meetings. <br />Council Member Tuohy commented on her attendance at the Historical Commission and the Safe <br />Community Committee meetings.
