If possible, include a sample assessment. <br />Response: To fully analyze the security recommendations, True North has <br />implemented the following analytical process by which security threats, <br />vulnerabilities, and potential mitigation measures are evaluated <br />primarily based on the severity of the threat and the potential probability <br />of occurrence, as expressed in the risk assessment index matrix. <br />• Table 1 will be used to determine security threat severity categories <br />(1, 2, 3, or 4). <br />• Table 2 will be used to determine the probability or likelihood of <br />occurrence (A, B, C, D, E, or F) of a threat. <br />• Table 3 shows the associated risk index matrix combining the <br />scenario severity and probability. <br />Category Severity Description <br />1 Catastrophic <br />Many deaths/severe injuries, severe system loss <br />and/or environmental damage, or crippling/ <br />significant financial loss <br />2 Critical <br />Low number of deaths, may cause severe injuries, <br />severe illness, major transit system and/or <br />environmental damage, or major financial loss <br />3 Marginal Moderate injuries, occupation illness, transit system <br />and/or environmental damage, or financial loss <br />4 Negligible Minor/negligible injuries, system damage, or <br />financial loss <br />Table 1: Security Threat Severity Categories <br />
