Section 00 72 00 GENERAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br />City of Everett 00 72 00-56 June 2024 <br />WFP Air Scour Blower Building Replacement Issued for Bid <br />UP3813 <br />5. The certificate(s) shall not contain the phrase “endeavor to”, or any substantially similar <br />phrase, regarding issuance of written Notice of cancellation of the policies prior to their <br />expiration dates. <br />6. The Description of Operations in the certificate must read as: “All policies of insurance, <br />except workers compensation, are endorsed to name the City of Everett, its elected <br />officials, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers as additional insured(s). All such <br />insurance is primary as respects the City of Everett, and any other insurance maintained <br />by the City of Everett is excess and not contributing. The City of Everett will be given at <br />least thirty (30) days prior written notice of any cancellation, non-renewal, or other <br />material change in any insurance policy.” <br />Within ten (10) days upon Owner’s written request, the Contractor shall deliver to the Owner <br />certified copies of all policies of insurance and the receipts for payment of premiums thereon. <br />The Owner acknowledges that Contractor may pay its premium on a monthly basis, and may <br />not be able to provide complete evidence of payment of premiums until the final premium is <br />paid. <br />15.3.14 Coverages and Limits <br />The insurance shall provide the minimum coverages and limits set forth below. Owner does not <br />warrant or represent that such coverages and limits are appropriate or adequate to protect the <br />Contractor. Providing coverage in these stated minimum limits shall not be construed to relieve <br />the Contractor from liability in excess of such limits. All deductibles must be disclosed and are <br />subject to approval by the Owner. The cost of any claim payments falling within the deductible <br />shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor. <br />15.3.14.1 CGL <br />A policy of Commercial General Liability Insurance, written on an insurance industry standard <br />occurrence form: (CG 00 01) or equivalent, including all the usual coverage known as: <br />- Per Project aggregate endorsement (CG2503) <br />- Premises/Operations Liability <br />- Products/Completed Operations – for a period of one year following Final Acceptance <br />- Personal/Advertising Injury <br />- Contractual Liability <br />- Independent Contractors Liability <br />- Stop Gap or Employers Contingent Liability <br />- Explosion, Collapse, or Underground (XCU), (as applicable)* <br />- Liquor Liability/Host Liquor Liability (as applicable)* <br />- Fire Damage Legal <br />- Blasting (as applicable)* <br />*These coverages are only required when the Contractor’s Work under this agreement <br />includes exposures to which these specified coverage respond. <br />If the Contract requires working over water, the following additional coverages are required: <br />a. Watercraft, owned and non-owned <br />b. U.S. Harborworkers’/Longshoremen and Jones Act
