<br /> <br />City of Everett 01 35 53-1 June 2024 <br />WFP Air Scour Blower Building Replacement Issued for Bid <br />UP3813 <br />SECTION 01 35 53 <br />SECURITY PROCEDURES <br />PART 1 : GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. This Section includes the procedures to maintain security including unauthorized <br />entry, vandalism, and theft to buildings and grounds at Project site. <br />1.02 SECURITY PROGRAM <br />A. At the Preconstruction Meeting specified in Section 01 31 19 - Project Meetings, <br />discuss with the City a security program to prevent unauthorized entry and to <br />protect against other security problems, including loss due to theft, vandalism, <br />and fire. <br />B. Arrange with the City for access through locked gates as necessary to perform <br />the Work of this Contract. <br />1.03 STORAGE AND PROTECTION <br />A. Provide for secure lockup of stored materials and take additional measures to <br />protect against theft vandalism, and other loss of property belonging to the City <br />located on site and at off-site facilities. <br />1.04 ENTRY CONTROL <br />A. The Contractor will be given access into the facility by the City’s representative. <br />Contractor is expected to maintain site security and lock gates outside of <br />established working hours. <br />B. Restrict entrance of unauthorized persons and vehicles into construction areas. <br />C. Maintain security of City gates as approved by the City in advance. <br />D. Maintain security site lighting systems as approved by the City in advance. <br />PART 2 : PRODUCTS <br />Not Used. <br />PART 3 : EXECUTION <br />Not Used. <br />END OF SECTION 01 35 53
