These <br /> comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2015 International <br /> Building Code,) (2015 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and/or Washington State Energy Code 2015 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless <br /> stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. The plans submitted are not the same from one drawing to the next. The site plan shows a <br /> 10 foot by 6 foot laundry and bathroom area at the back of the house, the construction <br /> drawings show a 12 foot by 5 foot area and the county records show an 8 foot by 4 foot <br /> porch. <br /> 2. Snohomish county records show 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The plans submitted show <br /> two bathrooms. <br /> 3. There are no permits on file to convert the rear porch into living space. <br /> 4. The site plan shows a structure located in the 5 foot side yard setback. This structure <br /> should be relocated to meet the City of Everett Zoning Code. <br /> S. The plans submitted do not include details for the construction of the stairs at the front <br /> entry. Provide construction drawings for the stairs including handrail (R311.7.8 IRC) and <br /> guard (R312 IRC). <br /> If you have any questions, please email or call me at (425) 257-8976.
