James Bronder
From: James Bronder
Sent: Tuesday,June 28, 2022 9:35 AM
To: sales@artcosigns.com
Subject: Correction Notice 1 - S2206-010
Hi Melissa,
Please respond to the following correction items:
1. The connection details are unclear regarding the signage. The leader line callout of"#5 blocking" along the base
of the sign is unclear as the connection does not completely detail a concrete connection nor a wood connection
to the proposed concrete footing. Please clarify this connection between the sign and the footing. If this is
intended to address only reinforcement of the footing and not a connection, please provide a spacing for the
reinforcement. Please revise plans as required.
2. The leader line call out of"internal blocking" of the sign construction is unclear. Assuming wood construction is
being proposed given the callout of"internal blocking",the vertical posts and horizontal framing member sizes
and their connections to the footing appear to be missing. Please provide framing and hardware information for
the signage construction.
3. A minimum frost depth of 18" is required for footings. Please update plans to reflect the deeper footing
construction.
4. Please provide a size and spacing information of the proposed anchorage hardware of the signage to the
building as this appear to be missing on the plans.
Thank you,
— James Bronder, P.E., S.E.
Associate Engineer—Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8810 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT Phone Hours: M/W/Th: 8 a.m.—12 p.m & 1 p.m.—3 p.m.
everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
1
